No More I'm Done

My friend recommended that I read No More I'm Done by Jennifer Jacobson. My friend was right! This is a good book and was an easy summer read. This book is about teaching writing in the primary grades but more specifically about fostering independent writers. The author encourages teachers to let go of the teacher directed writing to a more "child friendly" writer's workshop. The author also gives a year of mini lessons!! This is a great resource for teachers.
